Forgive me for i have to drink
without it i can not think
for i have nothing else to fear
amongst gods lies the beer
all the depths of mariana trench
anything for alcoholic’s quench
as high as  mountains high
let me drink, and see me fly
at the possible wisest peak
in the coterie and the clique
were the intellectual cease
bring in bottles, let them speak
take more ,than it takes from you
an enemy who is, but true
intoxicating like a poem
as good as remembering you
half a life to live it dry
half of it in nearby
and let me die.
